| | Two new articles: listening to young people, and handing power to
communities | |
|

I’ve had a couple of articles published in political pamphlets
over the past few weeks. In one, I argue that we need to
engage more closely with young people to understand their needs,
stop demonising them, and give them a real voice so we can invest
in the services they need to help them get the best start in
life. In the other, I argue for devolving more power to local
councils and local communities as a way of ensuring that services
offer value for money and meet the needs of local people.
